For this natural color vase, I use Small Kenzan. This 7.3/8" D size is probably more comfortable to use for beginners. In my classes, beginners start learning with 10" D size vase to master more advanced techniques. However this size is suggested for those who make Ikebana arrangements casually, just for enjoyment.

Made in Japan
The historic town of Hasami in Nagasaki Prefecture is one of the foremost pottery districts in Japan. Hasami began crafting its porcelainware almost 400 years ago. Building on this heritage, HASAMI PORCELAIN was born under the direction of Takuhiro Shinomoto. Clean lines, organic textures and multifunctional designs upgrade the finish of ikebana arrangements. HASAMI PORCELAIN’s curved lines represent the essence of modern Japanese aesthetics that is defined by a combination of modern and traditional styles.
